At long last time for another dwarf!

First signs of withdrawal syndrome showed for not sculpting a dwarf for such a long time, so I had no choice: I had to sculpt another one of the stout folk for my salvation and peace of mind.

Inspiration came when I read of this years' sculpting competition in the Mini Sculpture Forum.

This will be my contribution:

Now I am feeling much better and can sculpt other stuff with hands that aren't shaking anymore... ;-)

Hasta luego,

Gregor

  5. Haven't stopped by here the last month or so, but first I saw the Satyr and now this ... magnificent work, Gregor. This guy ooze of character and you should feel proud of yourself. I love Aly Morrison's old MM-dwarves, but you took the Marauder style to the next level. Really hope you'll soon start considering some kind of release of these dwarfs. If not for a big store release, then just a small promotion set ... for me :)

    Cheers,

  9. Just discovered your blog via the lads over at Bugman's Brewery. I have to say your Dwarfs are very nice indeed. If these go to cast, you'll have one more customer. Many of us over a certain age hanker after the glory days of the Morrisson Marauders, and as a number of fellow Bugman frequenters above have commented, this is a great progression. My Marauder IBs have been waiting for a decent command unit and you sir have filled that gap and saved me much frustration with my own novice conversion attempts.

Blue, Darkblade, Clam are all active in numerous forums. Get these cast, we'll paint them and help promote you. There's still a decent market for quality, characterful Dwarfs. I'd also suggest making a profile over at Bugmansbrewery.com and saying hi. You'll get a load of motivation over there.

Very well done so far. These are on my Crimbo list. Please have them cast by then ;)

  10. Thanks Matt

Glad to hear that my dwarves get such good feedback.
I am rather busy right now sculpting away for commissions but there will definitely be more of the stout fellows.

Once I got them cast (I hope to do it this year still) I will announce that at Bugman's.

    Cheers,

    Gregor

  13. I thought I get them purchasable last year, but allas, it was not to be.
I am in good hopes though, that I will manage the release late in this year.
Sorry that I can not be any more accurate about the release date...
