Hiho again

I thought it's about time to post something here again and lucky me, I just have finished another sculpt for my own line.

He is a bit of a starter for a new faction I will do more stuff for, so watch out for more.
I am not quite sure under which name I will be selling these, so for the time being I will call them beastmen.

This will only be one of a few who will look like the more traditional Satyr-like beastmen. Most others of those yet to come will  sport different "animal-parts".
This theme is one where for imagination only the sky is the limit and I plan to make good use of this "sculpting freedom".
So maybe there will be hippo-men, hog-men, rat-men, tiger-men, tapir-men, or whatever hits my mind.
I am rather curious myself as I had no concept art for this one, it developed while sculpting away...  :-)

If someone thinks he/she has got a most splendid idea that needs to be realised, let me know, I just might get tempted. :-)

Another MaxMini Release

Hiho again

As much as I would prefer to show more recent stuff, especially what I am currently sculpting for a not so small german company which is normally more linked to classical pen&paper roleplaying games, I can only show things which are not under NDA rule (Non-Disclosure-Agreement).

So here one of my earlier works for MaxMini, now finally released:

At long last time for another dwarf!

First signs of withdrawal syndrome showed for not sculpting a dwarf for such a long time, so I had no choice: I had to sculpt another one of the stout folk for my salvation and peace of mind.

Inspiration came when I read of this years' sculpting competition in the Mini Sculpture Forum.

Now I am feeling much better and can sculpt other stuff with hands that aren't shaking anymore... ;-)

Gladiator Heads released

Another commission has seen its' release at long last.

In fact it was one of my very first commissions since I have started freelancing last year:
Gladiator heads for the polish company MaxMini .

Here another picture, with a nice paint job:

Next on my workbench there is another miniature for my own miniature series waiting to be done.

I hope I can present first pictures soon.

Guess what: New Terminators!

This fella must be Terminator-addicted or something.

Recently I finished another Terminator conversion job for him.
Makes me wonder when the next bunch of those will come along...^^

Apart from that I did more stuff for Tabletop-Art and Freebooter. I hope they release some of that soon, so that I can present some pictures here.

First releases of commissions

What I do dislike a bit about my job is the fact, that under normal circumstance I am not allowed to show here the stuff that I finished for other companies. In short: commissions.

Of course I do understand the necessity not to interfere with release schedules. Still, having completed a job I would love to share some pictures here.

But, alas, I can't...

At least not untill the commissioning company has released the miniatures in question.
Unbelievable how long it takes some of them to release their stuff.
Of all the things I sculpted so far two things have been released so far:

I am still waiting for more stuff from MaxMini, Freebooter Miniatures and Tabletop-Art to be released.
I hope they hurry up a bit, so I can show more pictures of releases here soon.

Especially Tabletop-Art have a lot of sculpts from me in the pipe, so all I can say to them is:

Run Forrest Run !

Ok, his name ain't Forrest.

This Wolf Guard is named Bran and he is the second Thunderwolf Rider I finished for my Sven Bloodhowl Company.

As I already have shared some pictures of the conversion with you lot I thought I might also show some pictures of the finished painted version.

The result shows me that I seriously have to hone my photography skills...^^
